This story picks up a few months after the events of Scales of Smoke and Ash and I just want to say that I've never hated a creature as much as I hate Eklos. Emily does a phenomenal job of crafting a vile and despicable villain.

Thankfully, I didn't shed [many] tears in this one, but I did laugh quite a bit. It was a great story and I'm looking forward to diving into the final book in the trilogy!
